    Hello!

I'm not technical enough to fully understand the spec comparisons or overviews of these 2 cards: GTX 560M vs Radeon HD 5770.

Would the mobile card be faster than the desktop card? Any help is appreciated!

GTX560M performs like a desktop GTS 450, so similar performance to a desktop 5770.

What tsunade said, the HD5870m is basically a lower clocked HD5770 and the GTX560m is slightly faster than the HD5870 which makes it pretty much on par with the 5770. As an approximate rule of thumb, a laptop GPU is roughly equivalent to the desktop GPU that is just a notch under it's model number (i.e. mobility 5870 slightly slower than a 5770). When i say roughly, i mean that that rule of thumb isn't entirely accurate, but it's a good starting point when you start looking or comparisons.
