Hi guys,
recently, i checked a bad bios option (actually several at ones, cant tell for sure which one caused it. maybe that i deactivated HT?)
Now, the device turns on, but screen stays black and it goes out after ca. 30 seconds. I already tried just flashing a new bios via
insyde bios recovery (fn+esc, then turning on, with usb crisis disk and right bios on it). Same, the fans are way louder than usual, but it
still goes out after 30 secs. (I definitely have the right filename, tried every usb slot, 3 different usb sticks, all fat/fat32, with crisis/without crisis disk, etc etc).
Now normally, all i would need to do is reset cmos, but for some reason i cant do it blind (f2, f9, f10), and when i turn it on not even the hdd light is on.
I also tried to just take the cmos battery out, but its not where it should be. (Model is similar to aspire 5742g I think, on models 'older than a year' (states the manual), the cmos battery should be under the wlan card. there is nothing. where is it gone?)
An other option should be, like the manual states, to "Disconnect the RTC Battery cable and locate the RTC_RST jumper".
Found the rtc_rst jumper, but not the "rtc battery cable". here a photo of the area with ram taken out:

Can you help me out or have any ideas? Sorry if i forgot any info.
(i5, Nvidia gt420m, win7 x64, insyde bios)
Edit: here is the service manual for the PB TM85, as you can see the picture at "Clear CMOS jumper" is a bit inaccurate:
