    Is there any software or place in Windows 7 to determine the LCD model in my laptop?

    Use HWInfo32 which will help determine the model of your LCD panel.

    Or even just go to device manager or screen properties to check out the details for your LCD.

    For full EDID info and EDID image extraction you can use something like Extron EDID manager.
