I was wondering. My video card has two outputs on it. Could I hook up two computer monitors up and run them in parrallel. How would the interface work with that. Like, how would you get your mouse from one to the other. Also, how would you selct which screen you wanted a program or ap to run on?

Your notebook has two VGA outputs? I can't think of many that do this, but in any event, yes, you can plug in two monitors and extend the desktop onto both.

after you set it to extend the desktop, it will act as if both monitors are one. the mouse will just move between them. If you maximize to fullscreen, the program will go fullscreen in whichever monitor more of the window is in. non-fulscreen windows can be dragged between the two screens.

Yes, what they stated is true. My I9300 has a DVI-D and a VGA port. I can use them both. Which i have to hook up my laptop at work to 2 19" NEC 1960NXi's. It is beautiful. :)

It is in the Display Settings if you right click your desktop you can enable the other monitor. :)

Once you go dual screen having just one seems completely barbarian. Unless its like a 24" widescreen. But then two 24" widescreens would still be better.
