Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g Mini Card
    IntelĀ® 3945 802.11a/g Mini-card
    Dell Wireless 1490 802.11a/g Mini-Card

These are some of my options for the xps M1330, but I really don't know the difference among them. Can anyone help elucidate the differences among them?

of the wireless cards mentioned, the 3945 has the best range and signal strength.
The 1395 is rather old, and I wonder why Dell still offers it.
In general, the Intel wireless cards stay connected longer, and have greater connectivity than dell truemobile cards.

Just go for Intel. They also offer great 64-bit support.
