    Difference between Athlon II and Athlon II M300?

    Anyone know if there is a big difference in cpu performance if there is one?

    I am looking at 2 HP laptops. One has the Athlon II at $499, and the other has a Athlon II M300 for $549.99. I'm trying to determine what is the best option.

    Is there a difference?

    They have the same Processor.
    Both are AMD Athlon II M300.
    Just the first one used HP part number to identify the processor which is a stupid idea.
    The difference between the cheap and expensive one:
    Cheap one vs Expensive
    3GB RAM VS 4GB RAM
    320GB HDD vs 250GB HDD
    Wireless b/g/n vs Wireless b/g
    The cheaper one is better.

    I figured they may of been the same but wasn't 100% sure. Kind of odd that this is $50 cheaper with a few better stuff like more HDD space and also N for wifi.

    I wont complain.

    This deal is only good for a few more days. So I'll head over to bestbuy tomorrow and pick this baby up.
