    Difference between Express Card and PCMCIA?

    Whats the difference, and which one is better? Isn't expresscard more popular? I'm considering an asus g1s, but I believe that it has a PCMCIA slot, is this ok?

    The G1S has an express card slot not a PCMCIA slot. I am told that the expresscard is going to be the current standard for notebooks
