My dv5t has a WXGA screen and I am very very disappointed...
I really wanted the WSXGA screen but was unable to get with any of the models in India..
So what do you guys recommend?
1)A new replacement infinity screen(WSXGA) for my dv5t
    2)An external monitor 19inch+ with (1680*1050) resolution

I dont carry this laptop around as it is a family PC(replaced my ageing P4 HT desktop)

Just get the external monitor - I honestly don't think you want to be fiddling around with the installation and replacement of the WSXGA+ screen on your notebook.
You'd probably end up getting better quality and a bigger screen for the same or less cost of the replacement/upgrade.

Why did you get a laptop for stationary use in the first place?

Just to carry it around if I feel like at times!
I was just tooo tempted by the dv5,thats why!
Do you mean to say that I should buy a laptop only if I want to carry it around?
Then what about that HDX 18 beast!?

Get an external monitor, you can now find few 22"s even supporting full HD (1920x1080). Or better yet, get a 24" (1920x1200) if you can afford one. No built-in screen can beat a good external monitor.

I use my laptop for stationary use. That's because it's quiet and it's convinient to take with you if you want to.
Also it's not as expensive as a desktop for me (as i tend to upgrade VERY often if i have a desktop computer, and do alot of mods, so this way it gets cheaper for me to own :)) hehe.

To get ontopic i'd go for a replacement screen if you can find it cheap, as it has a good resolution. Otherwise i'd go with a 20"+ screen.
