    Hi All

    Cause: By mistake coffee went inside the laptop especially near the LCD BUS

    Problem: Screen is not totally blank. I can see something but screen is very dim. So I think screen is alive.

    It makes no difference if connect Inverter or not to LCD. I am able to view the dim screen.

    After going thru various posts I think I need to replace/try inverter first

    Question: This inverter is for IBM ThinkPad r51e .Anybody knows where I can get them in any part of London?

    Or any shop in Tottenham Court Road.

    I am able to get it from IBM site since I need it urgently I am trying whether I can get in some shop immediately

    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi

    Thanks for the reply.

    I went to Tottenham Court Road to find out ,but nobody has any clue about it.

    so ordered 2 from IBM 2 * 6.17 + 15 shipping + 4.17 vat £ ==approx 31+ £

    which is 62 dollars i guess ......

    I hope this solves my problem ....
