    Hi,

I am planning to upgrade my Asus Zenbook UX32VD hard drive to a fast SSD, but would like to get rid of the rather slow onboard SSD cache.

Does anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks,

    Marko

I have the exact opposite problem so maybe the same person will be able to point to the right direction for both of us. (As its been a month since you posted the thread I'm not holding my breath).

I would actually like to enable and use the 32 GB internal ExpressCache SSD but it "disappeared" after upgrading memory and replacing HDD with 256 GB SSD then doing a clean install. I had hoped to do a Linux installation onto the 32 GB on the MB but when I went to Disk Management to reconfigure it it was no longer visible, it did not show with a LIST DISK command and there is no evidence of it in the Boot menu. I'm assuming it could be a driver issue but of course I don't really know and I haven't been able to figure it out.
