    X1800 Mobility with Zalman VF700-Cu custom mounted.

    Alienware M5750 (Uniwill P72) chassis.

    CPU temps dropped 20c, GPU temps are down 40c+ (unknown what they were to start with, but system would blackscreen on load after a while (which was at approximately 110c CPU temps).

    Testing still, but one thing is clear: excessively high temps created by stock cooling cause degredation of memory chips for GPU, they no longer work at even stock speeds :mad:

    just wondering.. how did you get the temp measured?? i tried speed fan but only showed the cpu and hd. i want to know gpu as well....
    oh yeah.
    cpu=60 at max, 53average, and 48 lowest
    (undervolt=50 at max, 45average, 39 lowest)

    temp probe from digital multimeter stuck between two fins of vf700-cu heatsink.

    My cpu loads at 60c now, used to be 70-80 depending on room temps.... with an undervolt.

    edit - doesnt really matter anyways, video card is toast... it works, but wont game.
