The part number and model number of your LCD are located on the back of the LCD. You will need to disassemble the lid of your laptop to get this information.

Everest may be able to tell you, but if it reads the numbers wrong, you can end up buying the wrong screen.

To dismantle the lid, you need to remove the screws which hold the lid together. Usually the screws are located under small rubber pieces.

    Thx a lot, I have LP171WP4 (TL)(B4) 17.0" WXGA+ Notebook Display LCD TFT.

If I 'll buy the model 17" WXGA+ LP171WX2 (A4), what is it the major difference ? can not be replaced ?

either one should work fine they both use a standard lvds plug the only thing is you may have to re-use the inverter from the original screen as they normally would come with different style inverters and the plugs would not be compatible other wise both have the normal 4 mounting holes on both sides. the wx2 is mostly used in hp's from what my books say
