    Do I need to upgrade RAM in this case?

    Windows XP
    RAM: DDR2: 1G
    CPU: Coreduo 1.83

    Under intensive load, the Task Manager shows:
    - CPU Usage: 30-70%
    - PF Usage: 850 MB
    - Commit Charge: 850M/3989M

    Application running:
    Very often:
    - Acrobat (5 tabs)
    - Words (10 tabs)
    - Outlook
    - IE (15 tabs)
    Sometimes:
    - WMP
    - Virus scan
    - Chat

    :confused: Pls adivise me if Upgrading RAM to 2G would have any benefit for the performance.

    2GB is better then 1GB. How much physical memory is it using under "intensive load"? Is there alot of disk activity?
