Hi.
I was transferring files to my microsd card through an adapter. However, in windows event viewer i got a bunch of disk errors like these every time i transferred files:
The device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR1, has a bad block.
The device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR5, has a bad block.
The device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR6, has a bad block.
At varying times, as well as well as several paging file errors each time. Now I'm wondering why the numbers are changing (DR1 to DR5) etc. Is it possible because i put it into a different USB slot each time?
So i ran HD tune and did an error scan. It found 3 bad blocks on my microsd card. As it was scanning, 3 bad block errors showed up at the same time in event viewer. Does this point to my MicroSD card? I want to make sure that it's not my primary hard drive.
It shows the health status as OK for my primary hard drive. Doing an error scan of that now.

Your primary drive should be "\Device\Harddisk0\...".
You should be okay. -

Do USB drives show up as "disks"?
