I was reading another thread about a battery dying and someone asked if the battery was running hot. That got me to consider does the battery tend to get warmer, when used or charged, as they age and wear out?
I know battery life decrease as they are exposed to heat. So I am thinking that there comes a point where the battery starts to have issues and the temp jumps which accelerates aging.
Just curious and have no clue as to the answer...thanks!

battery temps do go up with age i can take my old toshiba laptop as an example i can hardly touch the battery and my hands burn and the battery hardly hold charge worth 5 minutes
