I have a question. Since Core Duo processors are supporting 667MHz FSB, do we need to match our RAM speed to be the same? ie. 667MHz DDR2 RAM?
I noticed some notebook manufacturers supply these 667MHz RAMs while others like Toshiba doesn't. I'm puzzled, but my 2 cents tells me that we don't need 667MHz DDR2 RAM as 533MHz DDR2 RAM will provide 1066MHz effectively which is more than enough for the 667MHz FSB. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

No you don't. You can run the ram on a divider without issues. The BIOS will automatically set to the correct settings.

1066MHZ??? Where did you get that from? 533MHz is 533Mhz (the real frequency of the memory is even lower) RAM.
Generally speaking running RAM at the same speed as the FSB improves sychronizations and yields a bit more performance than running a lower speed memory. This is true of FSB based systems. But in this case the higher latency of 667Mhz memory can take away the advantage of the faster frequency.
What Rougemonk said is true, it is not necessary but theoretical best performance is yielded when the RAm is set to run at the same speed as the bus.
