i recently bought a 15.6' samsung notebook. at first 16:9 sounded great to me but when i started to use it 768 vertical pixels started to feel very narrow to me. it is not disturbing on 1024x768 resoultion monitors but it feels a little strange when it is this wide.

ok, i admit that movies are great and slightly larger than 16:10 15.4 screens but it becames a problem on most softwares like 3dsmax or aftereffects.

workspace becomes too narrow and wide.

here are some screenshots explaning the sitution

i believe most softwares clearly not fit to 16:9 ratio.

maybe these new 16:9 series are a big mistage... what do you think?
