My computer's IMC is rated at 1333mhz. If I purchase RAM that is 1600 or 1866mhz, would it run at those speeds or at 1333mhz?
Is it better to match the ram speed with the IMC speed for optimal performance?

I'm not sure on the design, but the IMC will run at memory frequency or core frequency, so in either case it is never in sync, or always in sync. 1600 tends to be the sweet spot for these CPUs.
