    Hi,
I am looking to add a SSD to my HP Pavilion DV4T-1000 Laptop. Instead of changing the current HDD to a 256GB / 128GB SSD, I want to add a mSATA SSD on top of the mechanical HDD. Obviously the reason is, I don't want to lose the huge HDD size, at the same time want to speed up boot, application load times.

I want to know if my HP DV4T-1000 has mSATA port or something. Please help. (or) How can i find out myself if there is one? Thanks

No mSATA port on that notebook. If you want to have two internal drives, you'll need to buy a caddy and replace your optical drive.

You could get the 2nd gen Momentus XT as well, if you want to keep your optical drive.
