    I am so tired of waiting for Samsung 500gb..

    so I am planning to go for travelstar 5k500

    but I am not sure if it fits into my e1705

    Does anyone have an idea?

    The E1705 can only fit 9mm thick harddrives. The 12.5mm Hitachi travelstar 5k500 will not fit.
    The Samsung drive will be available to the public soon, so just wait another month and you will be able to buy one.
