NuShield is basically a glorified sheet of plastic film that's sized slightly larger than your visible area of the screen and you slide the edges under the LCD bezel to hold in place.

Since it doesn't use any adhesive, I would think that vibration can make it flap onto screen repeatedly. Anyone know if it can cause chaffe damage to screen on a computer that's carried around on foot as well as bicycle a lot in a back pack?

www.nushield.com is the one I'm talking about

I use a screen protector on my laptop, and it does not cause any damage to the screen. Just tape the corners of the protector to the sides of the lcd panel, and you will be fine. The tape is needed, so that the protector does not slide around. Just clean the protector and the lcd screen before taping the protector down. Just tape it pretty well, so that the protector cannot flop around much.
