With Diamondville appearing in every netbook, I would've thought Silverthorne would take off similarly in the mobile phone market.
However, we now know that iPhone 3G does not use Silverthorne, and I have yet to come across another device that was ever even associated with the chance of using it as its processor.
What's the deal with that? Is it not as powerful as the ARM processors?

Wow, from the amount of replies I'm getting, I guess it's not even a popular processor for discussions haha.

It is as powerful as the arm processors, but it is a new technology and usually the phone market gets the new technology much later than say laptops, which are upgraded continually. I am not so sure what the demand is for pda type phones which need silverthorne, but I cant imagine it is very high, so probably within a few months, their should be something, but I am not very into phones.
Your best bet is to email phone companies like nokia, lg, samsung, hp, and palm, and see what is coming in the future

Does any device use Silverthorne yet?
