Does anyone know a good program to fix/recover data from broken sectors?

So uhhh, I dropped my MP3 player and some files (back ups of my computer files really), are not transferable any more. Some songs have issues being read as well. I need something that'll recover the data, and if possible, fix the bad sectors. The built in Windows utility won't do (I already tried). Windows or Linux is fine. GUI preferable, but I can play with the terminal if it'll work better. Thanks!

(it's formatted in FAT 32 if you were wondering)

You can always try checkdisc, you can run it from basic dos, I believe the exact command is: CHKDSK
