Does it make sense to partition a raid 0 setup?

I just can't find any meaningful discussion on the subject anywhere on the 'net. I know that partitioning in a traditional, non-raid setup results in enhanced performance thanks to the drive not having to read across the entire platter all the time. But does the same hold true in a raid 0 configuration?

    thanks.
