Hey,
I'm thinking of purchasing a new laptop in a couple of months, and was wondering if anyone knew whether or not the Intel T5500 C2D supported Intel's Virtualisation technology. I'm a little wary as the T2300E Yonah did not.

According to the above page only the T5600 and above C2D's support VT. In addition to the processor make sure the OEM does not turn this feature off in the BIOS or at least has an option to enable VT in the BIOS. -
Ah, bugger, looks like that'll add about an extra $100 to the price of the machine.

Also i seen alot laptop that do not have bios that let you enable if you laptop does have future if was me and want future i do some google find model laptop speficly has or bios upgrade enable
they seem be very few laptop company want to enable it
