I am replacing my intel x25m 160gb, and I want a help forum!

what would be best for me?

    1 (one) intel 510 256gb ...
    or 2 (two) Samsungs 470 256GB in RAID 0?

    I thank ...

    This is ridiculous.

Begin by telling us how much space you think you need and how much your budget is.

    Lol, did you just make 2 threads ^_^;

And I think he's really asking if it's smart to RAID 0 Samsung 470's? And how it would compare to a single Intel 510.

    Think double the speeds. Kthxbai~

use SSD to programs and OS boot ...
but wanted to get more performance, because I usually leave the games in hd conventional and want to take it!

What is fastest of those two options? Samsung 470 in RAID0 hands down :)

    Here is 2x 256GB Samsung 470 in RAID0

    Here is a single Intel 510 250GB:

the 4K write figure is interesting. queue length seems to have no effect on either setup.

Cloudfire thank you! numbers are better than words! :D
Should I stick with two Samsungs! 500gb ssd :p vs 250 the intel
From what I read also the sansung is very reliable and stable.
    for $ 120 more I see of RAID 0. Thanks again :)

Np Rafael. There are some issues that can happen with RAID0 that you should be aware of though. I am shure tilleroftheearth will pay this thread a visit soon to tell you all about it lol. But you are right. Samsung 470 have been known to be very reliable. Good choice

    But write have?
