I know if I do a fresh install of window, or restore from my Lenovo DVD’s I made that the SSD will be aligned correctly.
If I make a backup of the correctly aligned SSD using Acronis 2011 Home, and used it to restore the SSD at a later date will it still be aligned correctly?

Why do you ask? You can check it yourself! There are enough tools around.

I have my first SSD for a Christmas present.

However do my job I was working over Christmas and will be getting home on Thursday. I hope to get the drive install then.
I all ready own Acronis home 2011 and have understood that it will not restore a normal hard drive image, correctly to a SSD. I was unsure if I started with a correctly aligned SSD image if that would change anything. I mostly am looking for a way to go back to a fully update stock image.
Just trying to save some time.
