    Driver Issues!!

    I have a DJ gig coming up soon and I need to get my set up up and running consistently. I have had some driver issues with my Inspiron 6000 and to keep a long story short, I need to reinstall XP.

    Questions!

    Will XP automatically install the drivers I need ie chipset, soundcard etc.
    It seems Dell's inspiron 6000 FTP Driver's are no longer downloadable!

    I dont mind not having the hot keys not working etc, will the computer function properly if I auto update??

    What do I do, the clock is ticking

    No XP will not install these drivers by itself, if you are doing a clean install.
    You will have to download, and install the drivers yourself. Get it from the device manufacturer's site, if unavailable (?) from Dell.

    Interesting how the links dont work if you click "Download Now" but they do if you click on the manufacturer THEN click download. :)
