I installed an NVIDIA Quadro P4000 Max-Q in a Clevo P750DM-G.
Device manager hardware ID shows:
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1BB7&SUBSYS_75021558&REV_A1
I have done the standard inf file mod, then disabled driver enforcement as I have done successfully in the past, but it's not working this time. The install starts, then fails less than half way through. I have tried the DCH version, standard version, and studio versions and none of them will work. I am probably missing something.

Can you try the normal non Max-Q vBios? (I attached it bellow)

I will give it a try, but is there a risk of damaging the card?

In conclusion:
With help from mirage_bg the Quadro P4000 is now running quite well in a P750DM-g. I have only run a few benchmarks so far, but it's running very well. I will create another post with all of the benchmarks later, but here are some results so far:
Fire Strike: (Max GPU temp only 59C)
Graphics score 12,542
Physics score 12,143
3DMark Score 10,788
I also ran Time Spy. It was just under 5,000 with Max GPU temp only 60C
The benchmarks were good, but not too impressive, however, I was very impressed but its performance in solidworks and other 3D programs I ran with it. It doesn't make sense that it scored around the same as the GTX1060 I was using before considering how well it runs in programs. I can't do a side by side comparison, but from memory, the p4000 aesthetics are smoother, and sharper.
Thank you again for your help mirage_bg!Papusan, mirage_bg and tilleroftheearth like this.
