    Dual Channel Memory performance?

    I'm still on XP until Vista releases a couple SP's, but I want to maximize my memory options.

    What would be faster for 3D rendering work:
    2GB in Dual Channel or 3GB not in Dual Channel?

    As I understand it, in order to run in Dual Channel, the pairs of RAM need to be the same size and speed, correct?
