    I currently have a laptop with a T5600. I'm getting a new one with a T5750. Will there be any noticeable difference?

    Not really. You won't notice anything unless you do long running CPU intensive tasks.

    Well it IS a step up from 1.83 Ghz to 2.0 Ghz... so I don't see how there won't be any difference...

    You'll notice a change in hardware if you utilize that hardware to its fullest extent. What I'm say is, unless you do CPU-intensive tasks, you won't notice any difference.
