I'm trying to get my external monitor to be the PRIMARY monitor and have my laptop display to be the secondary one. However, the option is always grayed out and I cant find any way to do that. Is there any custom drivers supporting this? Is there another solution?

I have a M570ru with a 8700M (Could swap back to my 7950GTX if I find out new drivers make it support my LCD, so if theres a work around for the 7950GTX let me know)

I have run into the exact problem with my laptop except i'm using a GF 7700 GO, not too sure what it won't work i've tried using the HDMI port and vga and it still doesn't work, the laptop always wants to be the primary, i'm hoping its a driver issue, hopefully some others can chime in and shed some light
