I recently replaced a broken screen in my Acer Aspire 3 A315-41-R18T with a B156HAN04.0 HW1A which was compatible with it, and has much better viewing angles than the original. However I noticed almost immediately the colours were "off" even when attempting to calibrate it.

One of the primary issues I'm having is that the purples are generally very undersaturated, I have to turn the saturation up quite high for them to look quite right, which makes skintones far too orange.

Is there anything I can do here? I cant' seem to find any tools for advanced ICC editing/color profile editors that don't require a colorometer. I feel like there should be some basic way to edit the curve responses.
