    Dumb ram question. DDR2 in DDR machine?

    I assume there is no chance the ram from my Dell E1505 (DDR2) will work in an Apple PowerBook G4 1.5GHz 15" (DDR) right? Life would just be too convenient if it did.

    No. The pinouts for DDR2 and DDR are different

    Nope, wont work. DDR2 has different pin configurations than DDR.

    Seb's right; the voltages are also different between DDR and DDR2.
