    Hi,

I watch English club football with P2P streaming.

The default size of the screen is quite small, maybe 1/8 of my 15.4" laptop screen and when I make it full screen or zoom-in, the quality of video gets really bad.

    My question is,

is it due to the graphics card on my laptop (Nvidia GeForceGo 7300)

    OR

    screen resolution (WXVGA, max 1280 x 800)

    OR

the actual quality of video file ?

Can anyone point me to good reference of how above technologies work together ?

Thanks for bearing such a dump question.

as solag3 says, it's the video file. streaming video is by nature poor quality for bandwidth reasons.

the quality of a video is inversely proportional to it's size; i.e., the better quality video, the larger the file size and the poorer quality, the smaller the size.

Is it file size or screen size when playing the video file ?

I am interested in how to play those video files in bigger screen, zoomed in or full screen size.

    Thanks.

You could watch it on a lower resolution screen, which would make it look bigger but less clear.
Regardless, an increase in video size would mean a decrease in picture quality as the video being streamed is of poor quality.

You got to understand that P2P streaming is hard and ....illegal. If you want a better picture, you need to pay :)
