Does anyone know where I can find a review directly comparing Intel's Duo Core processor with the new Core 2 processors (for notebooks)? All I've been hearing is it's 20% better, or something to that degree, but I'd like to see actual tests/numbers with the processor's tested head-to-head.

I've been considering getting an M1710, but I'm not in a rush. I could wait, but if the difference won't be great, or if it'll be year or more before the real advantages of the Core 2 will be seen, I'll buy it sooner. Thanks in advance.

The only definitive thing I've seen was SuperPi calculations, I think that might be where the 20% better is coming from. I also think I saw some 3dmark scores where core duo was around 36k and core 2 duo was around 40k, but that obviously wasn't a run-of-the-mill computer, and I think those were desktops.
