    Hiya all,

I just ordered a DV4000 from HP, and am going to be upgrading the RAM on it separately. I looked around on the HP website, and couldn't find information on what I need to get to upgrade.

From other threads, it appears that I should be able to get DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) memory.

    Is this correct?

    Thanks in advance.

always make sure it is notebook memory - SO-DIMMs, not just DIMMs! A pair of DDR2 533 SO-DIMMs is the way to go.
