I have a DV6338se with a nvidia 6150 and i recently bought halo 2 and shadowrun for PC i knew the GPU wasent powerfull enough in the laptop so i went on ebay and bought a dv9000 motherboard with nvidia 7600 go installed on it. Yes the motherboards are the same size and same connecters all around it the way the dv9000 works is it has adaptars to make things reach like the CD drive has a adaptar that takes the plug and moves it out like an inch. Anyways i know that dedicated graphics cards in HP's laptops use a 90 watt adaptar and shared graphics cards use a 65 watt adaptar i was wondering what would happen to my dv6000 while playing games if it was plugged in would the battery slowly drain because it uses power faster then it can charge because id rather not have to buy a $40 power cord
