I am hoping you guys with far more notebook experience can answer a few questions all in one shot. If thats not cool let me know. First does my dv8339 have pc2 5300 or pc2 5400 memory? Second mine came with geforce go 7600 w/ 256 memory I am assuming that is dedicated and not shared correct?
And finally I know there is a thread on this but my keyboard and pad work fine right now, is this something that degrades over time or am I in the clear?
    Thanks

Your dv8339 most likely comes with PC 4200 memory that runs at 533 mhz unless you chose to upgrade the memory to 677 mhz when you ordered it. If your memory runs at 677 mhz then it is PC 5300 or 5400, it's just a numbering difference.

The 7600 with 256mb of memory is a dedicated graphics card, and a pretty good one at that. Finally, if you dont have keyboard issues then just count yourself lucky :)

Yeah nevermind Netbrakr is right about the memory.. I forgot that the dv8339 is a pre-configured system rather than a dv8000 CTO. It has PC2 5300/5400 memory.
