    Well, looking at that cool translucent smoke grey keyboard on my new M6Ne gave me the idea to backlight it. I first tried a couple LEDs but the results were prettuy unsatisfying. Here's a second attempt using 2.3mm electroluminescent wire. Again, not satisfying - the illumination isn't broad and even enough to read the keytops. Also the wire is too thick, it interferes with presing down on the keys. I'm going to try some flat EL tape next.
