I JUST BOUGHT A SECOND HAND ELITEBOOK 8570w AND I WAS WONDERING CAN I SWAP A NON BACK LIT KEYBOARD WITH A BACK LIT ONE AND HAVE IT FUNCTION PROPERLY WITH NO OTHER MODIFICATION

woops my bad haha i was working on something and i needed caps lock on and then i was curious about the back lit keyboards is there anything programming wise i need to know?

As far as I know you don't have to do anything in windows. In bios there should be couple settings such as backlight off timeout or always on.
