I ordered an EON18 a few weeks ago and am super excited for it to get here... minus one detail. I almost went with the M17x due to the completely customizable back lit keyboard. If the EON18 had come with a larger keyboard (yes I know its "full sized") with back lighting and no gaming keys I think it would be 100% perfect in my mind.

    So my question(s) is this...

Are there currently any aftermarket keyboard options that will work with the EON18/X8100 to replace the OEM keyboard and gaming keys?

If there are no existing keyboard options, would anyone be able to point me to a company that can create a custom keyboard for me?

In addition to those I have some more "major" modding questions.

Does anyone know if the M17x keyboard shares the same connectors as the EON18's?

If yes then would the EON18 be able to control the back lighting functions on the same level as the M17x with a software/driver install?

I do realize the keyboards are different sizes and wont share the same mounting points but if software and connectors wont be an issue then I would be completely willing to work on creating some mounts to get it to work.

    Any help is appreciated!
    THANKS!
