    i will find out in 2 shakes of..... um, 2 shakes of an epacket delivery from china

    pretty sure that's a 2920xm es since it has 8mb cache.

    running pretty remarkably cool i think, and i dont have the patience to run all kinds of tests but i think the turbo is a little juicier than a normal cpu. seems to run with 2 cores at 33x and the other 2 at 30x, idk maybe thats normal tho

    i dont have an unlocked BIOS btw so no overclocking unfortunately.

    already tried throttle stop, doesn't seem to do anything at all.

    I think you need a board that support oc to do any multiplier ocing. Dropping xm into most machine won't get a oc'able CPU.

    Man, if your BIOS could take a 3630QM I'd swap with you in a heartbeat. :\

    It probably wouldn't unless it was a M17x R4... As far as I know, the R4 is the only laptop which can use both Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge CPU's with no issues..
