Greetings!
I want to hook up a EXP GDC Beast Laptop External Independent Video Card Dock to my laptop but only got esata and sata to connect it to.
Is there a way to transform a esata or sata to mini pci-e?
Or is there some other way? Other than hooking it up to the slot under the machine.
Cheers

Nope, SATA is a bus for mass storage devices.
If your notebook has an Express card slot, you may be able to use that instead.Starlight5 likes this. -
Sadly it doesnt have a expresscard slot.
oh well.

And also, most consumer class laptops don't have ExpressCard slots either. Mostly, you find ExpressCard slots on business class laptops, like the very excellent Acer TravelMate line.
