    Hey everyone,
I am looking for a cheap solution for bass management for my Lenovo T61p. I have an amplifier system powering 2 satellite speakers and a separate subwoofer. My subwoofer doesn't have line level inputs (its a logitech subwoofer) so I'm not able to filter the bass frequencies out from the satellite speakers to the subwoofer.

On my desktop, I am able to change the crossover frequency so that any frequencies below 80Hz is sent to the Center/Sub plug and anything above 80Hz is sent to the satellite. I am looking to emulate this on my laptop.

I noticed that the "Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 SB1090 5.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz USB Interface Sound Card" has 5.1 outputs with bass management but it is kind of pricey relative to the other 5.1 USB sound card solutions out there.

I was wondering if any of you guys have had this problem before and what USB sound card did you use or what did you do to manage your bass and crossover.

(I have some Polk Audio's bookshelf's connected to an amp, but no sub so I want to use my Logitech Z-5500 Sub, but I am unable to manage the bass overlap and crossover. Some bass frequencies end up overlapping. I want a sound card to cut the bass and send it to the correct speaker)

    Thanks guys!
