    Hi all, today at work I Ejected my card reader (unsafely) and now xp wont recognise it. Is there a cure for this?

    Help is well appreciated.

    First, simply reboot the system to see if it solves this for you.

    If it doesn't; go to device manager and remove all the USB entries under the Universal Serial Bus Controllers section. Reboot your system and you should be good after all the USB ports and hubs are recognized again.
