    Emulate Fn key with Usb keyboard? (ie: brightness, etc)

    If you can get the scancode for the Fn+whatever key, then you can map it to any other key or combination of keys.

    Thing is how to get that scancode. Problem is that many keyboards don't produce any. I guess that these handle keys via firmware or BIOS. For example, my laptop changes brightness and disables screen, touchpad and stuff even in bare DOS. In those cases, if I'm not mistaken, very little can be done to emulate the key.
