    Hey all,

I'm trying to get this computer in my sig set up, and wanted to know if anyone knows how to configure a laptop with a docking station so that the 'eject pc' button is seen on the start menu.

    any help will be appreciated!

    thanks,
    night

Have you tried docking the HP with it is off and then turning it on?

yup...after a 1 hour call with HP, they informed me that this is probably not possible.

my guess is they didn't want to take the time to help...

Qhs...I did try that, as well as creating additional hardware profiles. None of that worked. I'm thinking that there is a registry setting or *something* that needs to be changed in order to get this working.

then again, it might never work.
