    Hi.

I was just wondering if using the sound card's( realtek alc883) equalizer on the powerfull setting(greatly amplifies basses) will fry my notebook's(packard bell mv86) speakers. I noticed that while using it even the tiny onboard speakers sound much better.

    Thanks in advance.

angad is right. Raise your volume to the level before you start hearing interference, and make sure to never raise it above that.
