I had to reformat and use a windows cd other than the one that came with this laptop. I've found all of the drivers except for the wireless drivers. I can't find them anywhere. I goto the Everex site and the drivers there do not enable any sort of wireless on this computer. I can't figure out what sort of wireless card is in this laptop as it only states that I have an Ethernet Controller in device manager. The wired ethernet is working fine. Any ideas?

There are several things that could be preventing your computer's wireless from working.
    • Do you have a "kill switch", a switch or key combo that controls the wifi radio?
    • Is it enabled in the BIOS?
    • Do you see the card in the device manager?
    • Try reinstalling the driver
